our history
Headquartered in Taiwan, China, it is an environmental protection solution provider with technological innovation as its core. The company focuses on green technology research and development and engineering practice, and is committed to providing efficient, low-carbon environmental protection services to industries, cities and communities. Since its establishment, SPET has completed more than 2,000 environmental protection engineering projects, covering wastewater treatment, waste recycling, clean energy systems, ecological restoration and other fields, becoming one of the fastest growing benchmark companies in Taiwan’s environmental protection industry.
With the mission of “technology to reshape the relationship between man and nature,” AIECO plans to achieve carbon neutrality in its operations by 2030 and invest 10% of annual profits to support ecological projects such as coral reef restoration and mangrove conservation. In the future, the company will continue to deepen the research and development of green technologies and promote the accelerated transformation of the earth into a circular economy.
Founding team
The core founding team of AIECO are all from the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan (ITRI) and have profound R&D background and industrialization experience. The leader of the team, Dr. Chen Mingzhe, was a senior researcher at the Institute of Green Energy of ITRI and led the team to break through many environmental protection technology bottlenecks. The founding members include experts in environmental engineering, materials science, AI Internet of Things and other fields. Relying on the industry-university-research resources accumulated by ITRI, the team transformed laboratory technology into solutions that can be applied at scale, laying the foundation for AIECO’s core concept of “technology empowers environmental protection”.
